Yep! See where the whisper versus scream analogy comes from...

HEH. I immediately switched to 98/Classic mode at the very first opportunity with all my old computers, as well - Vista is the first version of Windows I've had and instantly liked to the point of never bothering with the switchover. For that, I blame the shiny... but I can't say I ever had the problem with different PCs having the same basic layout - the ones at the Museum are XP to my Vista, so it's not an issue... but I've always been painfully specific on colour co-ordinating my personal computer (I'm one of those horrible people who spend HOURS making sure every taskbar, window, button &c &c, not to mention Trillian and Winamp all match my desktop wallpaper), and that in itself is usually more than enough of a specific difference from... well, every other computer on the planet, really.
