Random Fandom Meme
I'm sure I've used that subject title before... Anyway, stolen off
commoncomitatus, whom I suspect will be the only person to play.

The hat is not a character. :P AND NOR IS SAM! Though some of the random weirdness Derek picked up on at times might as well be (see icon).
I might go back and give you a fandom on your own entry, actually, though it'll have to wait until tonight...
no subject
The hat is totally a character! IIRC, we had a whole storyline for it! ...or, uhm, I did. I think you might have actually been trying to watch. Did you ever explain the, err, spirit bunnies to me? If so, I think my memory may have wiped it.
LOL, awwww. I would definitely take any fandom you throw at me, obviously. And, err, at the risk of sounding too eager, CANIGIVEYOUANOTHERYET???
no subject
The spirit bunnies were one of Derek's more... *ahem* interesting moments. It was one of their European escapades somewhere in Sweden, I think, and he said there were ghosts of rabbits everywhere. The entire fanbase were like, "...WTF, Derek?"
G'wan then. I'll find your post in a minute...
no subject
LOL, rabbits. I'll bet his colleagues were thinking the same thing as the fanbase, to be fair. This wasn't the same episode as the spoon of doom, was it??
HEE YAY. 'Scape, obviously. Followed by Buffy if nobody else steals it between now and you getting around to it. (*is apparently just preemptively prompting now... but there is a LOT to get though*)
...and now I get to spam you with comments to your other comment!
no subject
Er, yes. It was several years after the Spoon of Doom (which IMHO is still fairly inexplicable / weird) and they'd been getting really interesting stuff a few weeks prior.
Okay, Farscape.
> Favourite character - Aeryn. I spent so much time getting into the heads of John and Aeryn during season 3 angst, but "The Choice" took my breath away...
> Least favourite character - probably Jool. I never really clicked with her.
> Prettiest character - Chiana.
> Character I'd marry - probably John. Once he's finished saving the universe, anyway.
> Favourite pairing - John/Aeryn. They were one of my uber-ships. :D
> Favourite episode - ARGH. Excluding all angstathons, I would have to say "Revenging Angel" because it's the Best Hangover Cure Ever.
> Unpopular opinion - Jool/Crais. IT TOTALLY HAPPENED WHEN WE WEREN'T LOOKING.
Do you want Buffy now or later? ;)
no subject
And LOL spoon; all I remember of it is the icon you made, and that was weird enough!
Also also HEE REVENGING ANGEL. Didn't we watch that one while drunk one of the recent times when I visited you? Because we wouldn't be able to watch it when hungover?
Do you want Buffy now or later? ;)
LOL CONTEXT! Uhm. Now, if you don't think anyone else will steal it, later if you want to give 'em a chance. *g*
no subject
And yes, I think we did watch "RA" when drunk...
I think (a) this entry has fallen off people's f-lists by now and (b) they will look at the comment count and run away, so here we go.
Buffy...
> Favourite character - Spike! I think that goes without saying.
> Least favourite character - Riley Finn. I found him really blah.
> Prettiest character - probably Willow.
> Character I'd marry - Giles!
> Favourite pairing - Buffy/Spike mostly, though I am partial to Giles/Buffy as well, though it's not a shippy ship, if that makes sense...
> Favourite episode - off the top of my head, "Something Blue". (Because OMWF is a cop-out.)
> Unpopular opinion - I hated Buffy/Angel as a pairing. I think mostly because I find Angel infinitely less annoying when he's not around Buffy, and always preferred Angelus anyway.
no subject
...it amuses me way more than it should that neither of us can quite remember whether we actually watched RA while drunk, or just assumed we did.
Silly people, missing out on the insanity. Does this mean I get carte blanche to go nuts now, though? ('cause, if so, Priscilla!).
Per Buffy... your UO is awesome; someone once said exactly that, about Angel being less annoying without Buffy around... and then threw out the addendum that "but then, so is everyone".

I was going to do the washing up but I think I'll go out and get some food instead. :P
no subject
And happy fooding... watch out for Cello-shaped plotbunnies as you go...
no subject
I shall now go and get some food. Might be back in a bit, but if not then I'll be
shippingwatching Giles+Sue at 9.00. :Pno subject
Again, good luck with the fooding... and also the foodie-ing! :D
no subject
Fooding was satisfactory (though with all the fast food it's hardly surprising I've put on so much weight lately) and foodie-ing starts in half an hour, after which I will have another shower-in-a-pool-of-water. My hair is so greasy I feel like Snape.
no subject
Sorry to hear about your Snape!Hair... but on the plus side, at least it's topical for the movie coming out this week? I mean, if you were gonna have to have Snape!Hair on any week...
no subject
LOL, very true. Still, I don't want to inflict it on the general public tomorrow unwashed; it's bad enough it'll probably be unstraightened and frizzy...
no subject
But, err, yes, good luck with the washing, if not the straightening. Should anyone comment on the unstraightened-ness, just tell 'em you were going for a natural winter windswept look. ;)
no subject
Well, the intention with the new cut was that it would still look okay even unstraighted, but my hair's unpredictability will doubtless put paid to that idea. Ah well. It's a bit more manageable anyway...
No idea if the bath is going to drain, and at this point I frankly don't even care any more. :P
no subject
Fingers crossed with the bath-draining... or, failing that, use it as fuel against the landlord! Remove the side panel, hit him with it, and then show him the lack of draining. It is fool-proof!!!

Priscilla options.
> Favourite character - Tick / Adam / Mitzi - take your pick of names.
> Least favourite character - Shirley (the vodka-shot woman in the bar).
> Prettiest character - Adam / Felicia.
> Character I'd marry - well, apparently the only marry-able character is Adam, so probably him.
> Favourite pairing -
Bernadette/GilesAdam/Anthony. THEY'RE SO SNARKY. (Seconded by Bernadette/Bob, obviously. Aww.)> Favourite
episodescene / song - I love "Mamma Mia" at the end (see question above) and my favourite scene is probably... oh, the "I Will Survive" sequence. Just for the Aborigine bloke going, "...nice night for it!"> Unpopular opinion - I must prefer Tony Sheldon's Bernadette to Terrence Stamp's... even though Stamp basically created the film character, Sheldon created the West End character and was a more convincing woman. Considering Bernadette's supposed to be a post-op transexual, Terrence Stamp still always looked a bit too manly, and he made a bloody awful drag queen. :P
no subject
Also, I never really thought about it, but you make a reallyreally good point about Tony Sheldon. IIRC ('cause I am just geeky enough to read up on this stuff), I think Sheldon originated the role in Australia before it came to the West End as well, so it's kinda his role as much as it is Terrence Stamp's.
Plus, no way could you mistake Terrence Stamp for Norma Desmond. ;)
Can I give you another or are you wearied of listing things now?
no subject
And yes, you're right, Sheldon did create the role in Australia pre-London.
You may give me another, but I don't know when I'll get to respond. :) I'm still finishing an Epic Post of Epicness which will probably appear at some point this afternoon...
no subject
And yay, glad I got that one right. (Though, randomly, I was amused to discover that apparently they've got Alf from Home & Away playing Bob at the moment... and yes, the poster does in fact cite him as 'Alf from Home & Away').
If you feel like doing another fandom, I'm uber curious about Glee... but you totally don't have to. I think we've got through the main ones.
RE the Epic Post, *hugs*. It never rains, it pours, or some such analogy, ideally less water-related so you don't hit me. I really wish I could offer Sage Advice (TM) on either subject, especially the choir... or at least get you drunk so Paul has be the one to deal with the bath... but I only have hugs. And, y'know, also positive vibes... which I'd imagine are about as effective against the blockage as all those solvents at this point. :(
Per choir, though, is it possible that it might be one of those things that'll seem less bleak once the blockage and other frustrating things are sorted and you're feeling less low already? Just, y'know, a thought.
...rambling comment is rambling. Sorry.
no subject
I'll do Glee later...
To be fair, Paul wasn't that drunk, comparatively, it was just that I'd been out since the afternoon and got back tired and cranky to find him half-cut and the washing up not done, and him considering a Pot Noodle to be "substantial food".
And yeah, choir will probably feel less blah once the bath drama goes away, and this time of year is horrendously busy (still three concerts to go and Christmas stuff to fit in around them), and anyway, we're doing Carmina Burana in March, which is ridiculously fun to sing. At this point that's the only thing keeping me there... I'll see how I feel by the end of the year, I suppose.
