I'm sure I've used that subject title before... Anyway, stolen off
commoncomitatus, whom I suspect will be the only person to play.
Reply with a show/fandom, and I'll tell you the following:
› Favorite character.
› Least favorite character.
› Prettiest character.
› Character I'd marry.
› Favorite pairing.
› Favorite episode.
› Unpopular opinion.
My fandoms are listed in my interests, or my tags list, but I think most of them are obvious. :P
G'wan then.

Date: 2010-11-15 10:28 pm (UTC)Well, the intention with the new cut was that it would still look okay even unstraighted, but my hair's unpredictability will doubtless put paid to that idea. Ah well. It's a bit more manageable anyway...
No idea if the bath is going to drain, and at this point I frankly don't even care any more. :P

Date: 2010-11-15 10:32 pm (UTC)Fingers crossed with the bath-draining... or, failing that, use it as fuel against the landlord! Remove the side panel, hit him with it, and then show him the lack of draining. It is fool-proof!!!

> Favourite character - Tick / Adam / Mitzi - take your pick of names.
> Least favourite character - Shirley (the vodka-shot woman in the bar).
> Prettiest character - Adam / Felicia.
> Character I'd marry - well, apparently the only marry-able character is Adam, so probably him.
> Favourite pairing -
Bernadette/GilesAdam/Anthony. THEY'RE SO SNARKY. (Seconded by Bernadette/Bob, obviously. Aww.)> Favourite
episodescene / song - I love "Mamma Mia" at the end (see question above) and my favourite scene is probably... oh, the "I Will Survive" sequence. Just for the Aborigine bloke going, "...nice night for it!"> Unpopular opinion - I must prefer Tony Sheldon's Bernadette to Terrence Stamp's... even though Stamp basically created the film character, Sheldon created the West End character and was a more convincing woman. Considering Bernadette's supposed to be a post-op transexual, Terrence Stamp still always looked a bit too manly, and he made a bloody awful drag queen. :P

Date: 2010-11-16 02:25 am (UTC)Also, I never really thought about it, but you make a reallyreally good point about Tony Sheldon. IIRC ('cause I am just geeky enough to read up on this stuff), I think Sheldon originated the role in Australia before it came to the West End as well, so it's kinda his role as much as it is Terrence Stamp's.
Plus, no way could you mistake Terrence Stamp for Norma Desmond. ;)
Can I give you another or are you wearied of listing things now?

Date: 2010-11-16 01:13 pm (UTC)And yes, you're right, Sheldon did create the role in Australia pre-London.
You may give me another, but I don't know when I'll get to respond. :) I'm still finishing an Epic Post of Epicness which will probably appear at some point this afternoon...

Date: 2010-11-16 03:36 pm (UTC)And yay, glad I got that one right. (Though, randomly, I was amused to discover that apparently they've got Alf from Home & Away playing Bob at the moment... and yes, the poster does in fact cite him as 'Alf from Home & Away').
If you feel like doing another fandom, I'm uber curious about Glee... but you totally don't have to. I think we've got through the main ones.
RE the Epic Post, *hugs*. It never rains, it pours, or some such analogy, ideally less water-related so you don't hit me. I really wish I could offer Sage Advice (TM) on either subject, especially the choir... or at least get you drunk so Paul has be the one to deal with the bath... but I only have hugs. And, y'know, also positive vibes... which I'd imagine are about as effective against the blockage as all those solvents at this point. :(
Per choir, though, is it possible that it might be one of those things that'll seem less bleak once the blockage and other frustrating things are sorted and you're feeling less low already? Just, y'know, a thought.
...rambling comment is rambling. Sorry.

Date: 2010-11-16 04:07 pm (UTC)I'll do Glee later...
To be fair, Paul wasn't that drunk, comparatively, it was just that I'd been out since the afternoon and got back tired and cranky to find him half-cut and the washing up not done, and him considering a Pot Noodle to be "substantial food".
And yeah, choir will probably feel less blah once the bath drama goes away, and this time of year is horrendously busy (still three concerts to go and Christmas stuff to fit in around them), and anyway, we're doing Carmina Burana in March, which is ridiculously fun to sing. At this point that's the only thing keeping me there... I'll see how I feel by the end of the year, I suppose.

Date: 2010-11-16 05:58 pm (UTC)I do hope things get easier, though. I suppose the plus side of things like this is, as a rule, once one thing starts improving, everything else slowly but surely starts being less horrific as well. Though it's little consolation for the duration. But yea, kick Paul onto the phone with the landlord and let him deal with it!
*hugs more, anyhow*
