Isn't it amazing how people from out of the area, always know more about your home town than you do? There are lots of ghost stories about Tring as it happens - Nell Gwynne, monks, Roman soldiers to name but a few - and a friend of mine saw said monk walking a donkey along the aptly named Friar's Walk. His state of inebriation at the time called his evidence into question however, but he was adamant about what he had seen!
And my house is fairly unspooky. I promise not to tell you where J saw the ghost and then we'll see if you can sniff out spirits (ghostly, not alcoholic!)
