yes, but i fail to see the point in voting when my vote will make no difference whatsoever... last year, everyone still believed all the 'promises' that labour made, and now, look - we have university fees, the possibility of more sodding university fees, graduates with more debt than ever, and tony blair being hypocritical and jeopardising the grammar/grant-maintained schools by threatening to take that grant away, when his own son goes to one...
(which is precisely the reason i'm not political. i'm not interested in a bunch of grown men - adults, whatever - weaving complex webs of lies and not delivering their promises, or having intellectual arguments with each other.)
i'm all for women's rights - and i do appreciate that it took a fight to get the right to vote - but this is 2003, and it doesn't apply now.
i've never voted, and i never intend to, and that's my prerogative. (and i don't feel like getting into a political argument when, as stated, i have no political opinion.)
