Oh, emphatically woohoo. And they break up over something utterly pointless, too. I think it's something like Kennedy calling her 'Red' and Willow telling her not to because that's what Spike used to call her and it's bad enough Buffy being reminded with everything else, and Kennedy goes off on one. Possibly. That was going to be part of it. There was also this whole section with Willow teaching Vi how to do magic and spending more time with her than with Kennedy and her getting jealous...
Definitely a bad idea. I know what you mean about "Him", and I think every season has had its bad ones. "Double Meat Palace", for example... (Incidentally, my favourite bit in "Him" is Buffy with the bazooka, determined to take out Wood, and Spike tackling her; it's hysterical...) At least the sloppy bits in Season 7 were made up for by some of the truly great bits...
