Sadly, I too have no issues with Yahoo. On the matter of IDE devices, no you only had 4 as floppies have their own special controller. As for the guy's other issues, god knows what he was on about. As you say, sheer laziness plays a part there. I'm afraid the problem sounds like a motherboard issue. I thought it might be the power supply but I doubt it.
