dave ellis (critical theory lecturer) has moved away from examples of chickens, and onto examples of buffy. whatever, it works for me ;)

and i'm in a stage of ambivalence (god damn that david brottman and his psychoanalytic terminology!) over next satruday; that is, i'm alternating between "ah, it'll all be fine. i'll be fine. i won't collapse" and "what the frell am i doing?!" neither of which, you note, have convinced me not to go ahead with it.

i'm so annoyingly optimistic it scares even me...
