PS: On that note: Keep voting, damn you! Now I have the joyous task of trying to track down the Antix address online. Woo.

PPS: Address found. Wasn't sure for a while, but two different sources list it as the same place, so I'm going to take that as a positive sign. Eep. This means I actually have to go ahead with it, doesn't it?

I can read your DJ on my friends-list through a syndicated feed. Alas, without ucons or any of the LJ-cuts (or anything friends-onlied), so that meme was posted in its entirety. :P

Good luck with the address!
I had an intensive, several week-long search and had no joy!

Seriously? It took me 10 minutes! My mum gave me a handy website that searches for registered business addresses. ;)

Well... I hope it's the right one, anyway. It's based in Cheadle, which is... kinda near Manchester, and it's a Manchester dialling code.

No way! Oh, I could scream!

:|

If only I'd counted the hours I spent searching for that piece of information!!

Could you e-mail me the address, please? Unless, of course, you'd rather not. I'd fully understand. :)

Certainly. Am just checking on the official site in case both other sources were lying to me...

Oh, thank you.
You have no idea how happy I am! :D

The reason being is that through a letter - assuming they don't ditch all letters which look as though they aren't "official" - I can go into detail about my qualifications & why they should take me on. ;)

It's so easy to shoo people away on the phone!

The Antix website has been the same for months! The contact page has been down since before Christmas and the 'projects' page is STILL in production!

Thank you again! :D

...assuming they don't ditch all letters which look as though they aren't "official"...

That's my only remaining concern. Flowers don't look very official, do they? ;) I mean, I was going to give the flower-delivery people the messages/cover letter in an envelope to attach, so I guess I could put the council's return address on it and make sure the front's typed out rather than hand-written, as that looks more professional anyway. But then, why would Birmingham City Council be sending Antix random letters? ;)

I always put a return address. Not least in case of delivery-failure, but the first time I did something like this I actually got a reply. ;)

Incidentally, your message possibility reminded me that the main thing I was going to say was something to the effect of her not only being the face of MH, but being MH. I think this is going to take some more consideration... :|

Oh, I truly don't think they'd discard any flowers.

I don't think anyone could.. Not when you stop to consider how much thought and care someone has put into sending them.

I think this is going to take some more consideration...

Well, Yvette is the core of Most Haunted. I think any fan would agree with that!

Yes. Yes. *nods* Argh. I am the most paranoid fangirl ever...

Well. Okay. I shall attempt to come up with my cover letter (which is essentially my message) before this weekend, and then get it beta-ed by someone (I ramble. A lot.) and put it on [livejournal.com profile] mosthauntedgeek for the final look-see. And then get everyone else to add their own. I've got someone from the council sending me a message - hand-written! - from he and his wife. :D

Additional irony: if you go to www.antixproductions.com (logically enough...) their splash page actually has a picture of Yvette. So I'm thinking this may be a plausible plan. :D
