There's been nothing interesting on at the Hippodrome for bloody months, and now, suddenly, there's all these things I'm interested in seeing...

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tour
Anything Goes tour
My Fair Lady tour
Stomp tour
A Matthew Bourne version of Edward Scissorhands (!)
The Christmas BRB Ballet of Beauty and the Beast
Jerry Springer: the Opera tour

And I think there's probably going to be a few more.

Meh.  This is Fate stealing my money after getting me a contract, obviously...

Matthew Bourne rocks. I'm sure Edward Scissorhands will be fab! (I may be going to see it in December...)

A great modern choreographer taking on a great director's best work? Should be interesting, to say the least. Danny Elfman's music in that film will lend itself very well to ballet, too... *fangirl squee*

Yeah, I saw it in the second row when it toured Birmingham. Also saw his Nutcracker! and my mum saw Play Without Words, which I missed. Have also seen The Car Man on video, as well as Swan Lake, though it definitely loses a lot on television and I found it less enjoyable...

Do you think? I just love Adam Cooper though. He's the most brilliant dancer.

Yeah, but that's mostly to do with my attention span, I think. I find dancing a lot easier to follow - and a lot more interesting - when it's live. With a televised production you're forced to see what the editor/director wants you to see, whereas with a live performance you can pick and choose...

But yes, with you on the loving of Adam Cooper. :)
