Stolen off [livejournal.com profile] yoshithedragon and [livejournal.com profile] joetimewaster:

E - Essential everyday item: Spectacles.
F - Flavour ice cream: Any sorbet but lemon. Nice Cornish vanilla.

H - Hometown: Oldbury

Y - Yummy: Um?
Z - Zodiac sign: Libra

In other news: due to brain-achiness on Wednesday night, I finally started taking my St John's Wort. It appears to be working. I don't know whether it's just because it's a new year, but I'm feeling much more positive about stuff at the moment. We'll see.

Good Christ, it's cold in here... *sits on heater*

I hope the St. John's Wort continues to help. I need to look into something like that myself...

If nothing else, it may help me deal, mentally, with day-to-day aggravations without resorting to kicking things and sulking. :)

All praise the power of St John's Wort. Saved my sanity this winter - and I'm not kidding. Be careful though to check out if it reacts with any other prescription meds you might be taking, there's masses of advice out there over interactions and so on. The one I have been warned about most often too, is that you should be careful how much you drink whilst you're taking it. If I'm honest, I've actually not felt much like drinking since I started it in any case - another bonus feature, or not depending on how you look at it!

Oh, and give it plenty of time to work - two weeks or so at least.

*hugs* and hope it works
Sweet

The Valerian I'm already taking has saved my sanity enough on its own, and I've noticed the effects of the SJW already... unless my brain fixed itself when I wasn't looking, of course. I wouldn't put it past... itself.

I did some research online to make sure it wouldn't react with anything I'm taking, which is only the asthma medication anyway. I've got prescription painkillers for my 'mechanical' back problem, but TBH the valerian works better for that anyway. It's a wonder drug. :)
