WHAT THE FRIG WAS GOING ON WITH THE BLOODY BUSES THIS MORNING???

I left work at 7.45. I proceeded to wait 15 minutes for a 126. I missed an 11C in Bearwood by about 10 seconds (it was stuck at the traffic lights and I knew full well he'd never let me on even if I ran) and then proceeded to wait another half an hour for the next one, which took SEVEN HOURS to get to Winson Green, and while I was waiting for the 101, three more sailed past the end of the bus stop. THREE. Presumably the three I could have boarded whilst waiting for the first one.

It's things like this which frustrate me. I think I'd be less annoyed if TWM stopped putting their fares up and were actually honest about their services. "Yeah, well, there's a timetable there, but we can't promise it's accurate. What with the traffic and everything. It might turn up eventually and we'll claim it was there the whole time and you missed it while you were standing there. Here, have a free magazine to read while you wait." rather than "We are wonderful! Go by bus!"

Bastards.

I left before 8.00am specifically to get in before 9.30!

Also, it's bloody cold out there.

Dunno about the buses, but my train line was screwed due to a suspected fatality at Bourneville station. The 11 goes near there; does the 126?

Nope, the 126 goes along Hagley Road and Wolverhampton Road and that's it. But the 11 goes literally everywhere (including past Mary Vale Road where Bournville Station is) so that may be why. The 126, on the other hand, is just crap.

I don't use buses as much as I used to but I have noticed how often the fair goes up.

It used to be 80p for an adult and now it's 1.20!!

The least they could do is ensure the buses are kept clean and arrive on time.

I always found the 11 to be annoying. I'd wait on city road for an hour and then 4 would come along together!

Though I have to say I thought the traffic in Sutton Coldfield this morning was total murder. You're screwed whatever you do these days, unless it's by train. And then you're at the mercy of someone not deciding to throw themselves off the platform at New Street but calm down and go home. And leaves on the line.

No, it's not. I'm not learning to drive until I walk in a straight line... or rather, until I'm not perpetually tired, because it's an accident waiting to happen. You're screwed if you drive, anyway, because even then you get stuck in traffic or hit by bad drivers.

or no platform available at New St., always... what I'm getting at is that they need to sort the problem sout one of these days. (Shoot the kids or at least fix the fence, sack the lazyarse from Redditch, sort the overhead lines and expand New St. Not put my fares up and then seemingly spend it all on extra people to make sure I buy a ticket... I get checked between 2 and 5 times a day)

It would also help if they put trains with more than 2-3 bloody carriages on at peak time, rather than off peak, and then there'd be significantly less delays because of people trying to cram themselves inside the main door areas. Aside from the health and safety issues, it's just annoying.
