Whinge, whinge.

I'm actually getting quite tempted to stop posting in this journal completely, or at least put it on hiatus until I've got something worth recording. Whatever I do post lately is either inane drivel, whinging, or things that were probably better left unsaid.
I'm still reading my friends-list. You can delete me if you want, but please bear that in mind.
Of course, there's always the fact that I'm only posting for my own benefit. Maybe I should just personalise everything instead.

Dead Famous is good isn't it? I loved the one in the first series about Marilyn Monroe. They use EVP far more than MH ever did too.

Date: 2006-04-13 08:27 am (UTC)Amen to the 'posting for your own benefit'. While I do take great enjoyment in reading your entries (I mean, not the sad or miserable ones, 'cause that'd be weird), it is... when all is said and done... your journal. I never have anything worth recording either, but it doesn't stop me from posting six zillion paragraphs of utter crap every day.
I could say a few things about saying stuff that's better left unsaid, but that would involve getting into a whole mess of... messiness. Suffice it to say, I've had that issue a bit over the past couple of weeks as well and have finally come to the conclusion that, if people don't want to hear it, they can ignore it. Either way, I just think it's far better being vented than left to fester.
But then, as I said, it's your journal. If you yourself see no point in keeping it up, then that's your blogging prerogative and it's no-one's place to try and pressure you into keeping it going for the sake of your adoring fans. So... err... I should shut up now.
Sorry.

Date: 2006-04-13 12:21 pm (UTC)The fact of the matter is, I've had plenty I could've posted about, but imbalanced brain chemistry has meant I couldn't be bothered. Plus a few other factors, but mostly that. I don't know. For eveyone who'd actually miss me, there're probably three who are rolling their eyes and telling me to stop being such a frelling drama queen.
And, unrelated, what the hell is going on with that icon?

Date: 2006-04-13 12:41 pm (UTC)Nah, I wouldn't think so. It's easy to assume that people would but you're forgetting a key point. This is an online blogging site... we're *all* drama queens. And those of us who aren't... are totally lying about it.

Hee. It's a Crisis thing. DC Comics has this huge and horribly messy Crisis (always with a capital C, nobody knows why) going on at the moment, which all started when Max Lord (the brown guy), shot Ted Kord (the blue guy) in the head, because he discovered his evil master plan. The icon's pretty much saying "la la la, it didn't happen, the whole Crisis can be solved with a really big band-aid".
So, to translate... it's comic-geek humour. Feel free to shake your head in disgust.
