Temporary Layout Change.

Because it's Christmas, dammit, and I am going to try and make an effort now. Our tree is going up tomorrow and there will hopefully be a series of interesting photographs as a result (of the tree-building/decorating, and then some artsy macro shots...)

I will endeavour to make a new layout over the Christmas period, if my inspiration or energy ever return...

it's that time of year already...

While I was at my parents' house last weekend, we put up the tree. My little sister and I were both home, and we both missed out on decorating the tree last year, so we got an early jump on the holiday season. We even got out my mom's little knicknacks, and we all had a mental inventory going on--we knew which ornaments still hadn't been found, we knew where they all went, and we tried to remember where we got them all. That was fun, it's like a prelude to opening presents!
