LiveJournal just ate my entry.

I'm too tired to type it all again.

So you'll have to make do with this one instead.

That's happened to me a few times, and it's bloody annoying. I tend to keep copying and pasting incase I lose what I've typed.

Know the feeling. Sometimes I even think it realises when you're too tired to re-post... and it's funny how it never seems to do it to short, inconsequential entries.

Thanks for your CD - it arrived the other day, but I'm only just back from Rem's. Really liking the look of the tracklisting, and I'm going to play it tonight in bed to chill myself out and prevent myself over-dosing on Christmas carols. :)

Oooooh LiveJournal is a biyatch sometimes. The way the page entry system is designed. If you spend 10 mins making a message for example, and in the meantime your network connection dies without you noticing (it happened to me all the time before I found the cause of a dodgy phone connection upstairs) then post, it tries to connect, fails, IE gives a 404 error, and if you go back it has eaten the message. Grrrrr and double Grrrrrr.

At the risk of sounding unsupportive, you could try using a dedicated entry editor for LJ rather than relying on the website. I heartily recommend Semagic.

We discussed this yesterday, so I won't snark at you. :P
