I'm sure I've used that subject title before... Anyway, stolen off [livejournal.com profile] commoncomitatus, whom I suspect will be the only person to play.

Reply with a show/fandom, and I'll tell you the following:

› Favorite character.
› Least favorite character.
› Prettiest character.
› Character I'd marry.
› Favorite pairing.
› Favorite episode.
› Unpopular opinion.

My fandoms are listed in my interests, or my tags list, but I think most of them are obvious. :P

G'wan then.

I doubt the peroxide helps, really. :P Also I never thought he was that convincing as a harbinger of destruction in the first place, he was too bloody cocky for starters! And anyway, he'd just sik Dru on everyone...

Disney Villains makes 12, though I don't know if they count as a fandom. Maybe you should get back to trawling the Swircle in case you uncover any more. Most Haunted's Jaunty Hat! Er... yes, I'm going to bed now. You can leave me another fandom for the morning if you like.;)

For all we know 'Im Upstairs could be the most attractive creature in the castle!

The Spike thing is really interesting - I did buy him as harbinger of destruction, and consequently had trouble buying him as the angsty smitten puppy. I wonder, if I'd been less convinced of him in S2, maybe I'd've bought him more in S5 onwards...

Also LOL!!!! @ Disney Villains. I think we're just making things up now! (Though Most Haunted is totally going on there, 'cause dammit I saw enough episodes to understand it, and you had BETTER pick the Jaunty Hat as prettiest character!).

But yes, I think it's only fitting I give you Trapdoor next, to settle this complicated matter once and for all.

Also I think the rambling accent didn't help...

I think Most Haunted is exempt by virtue of not having characters. :P

Okay, Trapdoor:

> Favourite character - That weird shape-shifting thing in that one episode. It was funny.

> Leave favourite character - Drutt. He's too... Drutty.

> Prettiest character - Boni! He has cheekbones! And... everything-bones. But still.

> Character I'd marry - probably Berk. At least he tries to keep the place tidy.

> Favourite pairing - oh dear God, I've just remembered that one with the slash. Berk/Boni. OBVIOUSLY.

> Favourite episode - They all sort of merge into one, but now the "I like your body, Boni" line in my head and it won't go away. OR: the inevitable JC crossover episode which has to happen now.

> Unpopular opinion - I don't even know of any popular opinions!

Ahhh yes, the accent. I think Americans are just incapable of pulling off an English accent with any kind of believability. They all seem to think we still hail from Dickensian times. ...though, to be fair, if I recall that one episode of Doctor Who, we're not much better at theirs...

THE HAT IS A CHARACTER DAMMIT. And so is... errrrr... the spirit guide dude thing object person ghost?

And so many levels of LOL for your Trapdoor answers, I can't even. I'll take your dislike of Drutt as an unpopular opinion, if only because it's unpopular with me. :P

...is it worrying, though, that I'm now picturing a double wedding between Berk/Boni and Tuba/Piccolo?

Bizarrely, in season 7 Spike's accent improved because James Marsters was at the SFX Event in Blackpool with 3000 Buffy fans moaning at him that his accent was rubbish. So for season 7 it was vastly better, at least until he was in Angel and some idiot vocal coach ruined all our hard work. :P

The hat is not a character. :P AND NOR IS SAM! Though some of the random weirdness Derek picked up on at times might as well be (see icon).

I might go back and give you a fandom on your own entry, actually, though it'll have to wait until tonight...

Ha, yes! I heard about that - quite probably from you, actually! And, to be fair, his accent was rubbish! That said, I've yet to see him in Angel, though I really should make the effort, given that I heard he's less annoying in that...

The hat is totally a character! IIRC, we had a whole storyline for it! ...or, uhm, I did. I think you might have actually been trying to watch. Did you ever explain the, err, spirit bunnies to me? If so, I think my memory may have wiped it.

LOL, awwww. I would definitely take any fandom you throw at me, obviously. And, err, at the risk of sounding too eager, CANIGIVEYOUANOTHERYET???

Yes, it probably was from me. :) I only saw the first couple of episodes of that season of Angel and then Uni got in the way and I forgot about it... I need to get them all on DVD and actually re-watch both that and Buffy at some point.

The spirit bunnies were one of Derek's more... *ahem* interesting moments. It was one of their European escapades somewhere in Sweden, I think, and he said there were ghosts of rabbits everywhere. The entire fanbase were like, "...WTF, Derek?"

G'wan then. I'll find your post in a minute...

I keep meaning to watch Angel too. I was put off at first by the 18 rating, and by the time I got over that particular hang-up, I'd kinda moved on. So need to revisit, clearly.

LOL, rabbits. I'll bet his colleagues were thinking the same thing as the fanbase, to be fair. This wasn't the same episode as the spoon of doom, was it??

HEE YAY. 'Scape, obviously. Followed by Buffy if nobody else steals it between now and you getting around to it. (*is apparently just preemptively prompting now... but there is a LOT to get though*)

...and now I get to spam you with comments to your other comment!

I started watching it at first, then they killed off my favourite character and I gave up, watched a bit of series 3 and the beginning of series 5. Needless to say, it got a bit confusing.

Er, yes. It was several years after the Spoon of Doom (which IMHO is still fairly inexplicable / weird) and they'd been getting really interesting stuff a few weeks prior.

Okay, Farscape.

> Favourite character - Aeryn. I spent so much time getting into the heads of John and Aeryn during season 3 angst, but "The Choice" took my breath away...

> Least favourite character - probably Jool. I never really clicked with her.

> Prettiest character - Chiana.

> Character I'd marry - probably John. Once he's finished saving the universe, anyway.

> Favourite pairing - John/Aeryn. They were one of my uber-ships. :D

> Favourite episode - ARGH. Excluding all angstathons, I would have to say "Revenging Angel" because it's the Best Hangover Cure Ever.

> Unpopular opinion - Jool/Crais. IT TOTALLY HAPPENED WHEN WE WEREN'T LOOKING.

Do you want Buffy now or later? ;)

Yes, things do have a habit of getting confusing... especially when Whedon is involved. Still, the completist in me is morbidly curious.

And LOL spoon; all I remember of it is the icon you made, and that was weird enough!

Also also HEE REVENGING ANGEL. Didn't we watch that one while drunk one of the recent times when I visited you? Because we wouldn't be able to watch it when hungover?

Do you want Buffy now or later? ;)

LOL CONTEXT! Uhm. Now, if you don't think anyone else will steal it, later if you want to give 'em a chance. *g*

The icon was what spawned the phrasing of "spoon of doom". I am wholly responsible for it. *ashamed*

And yes, I think we did watch "RA" when drunk...

I think (a) this entry has fallen off people's f-lists by now and (b) they will look at the comment count and run away, so here we go.

Buffy...

> Favourite character - Spike! I think that goes without saying.

> Least favourite character - Riley Finn. I found him really blah.

> Prettiest character - probably Willow.

> Character I'd marry - Giles!

> Favourite pairing - Buffy/Spike mostly, though I am partial to Giles/Buffy as well, though it's not a shippy ship, if that makes sense...

> Favourite episode - off the top of my head, "Something Blue". (Because OMWF is a cop-out.)

> Unpopular opinion - I hated Buffy/Angel as a pairing. I think mostly because I find Angel infinitely less annoying when he's not around Buffy, and always preferred Angelus anyway.

It is an awesome phrase and should not be the source of shame! One never knows when a situation will call for cries of doomful spoon!

...it amuses me way more than it should that neither of us can quite remember whether we actually watched RA while drunk, or just assumed we did.

Silly people, missing out on the insanity. Does this mean I get carte blanche to go nuts now, though? ('cause, if so, Priscilla!).

Per Buffy... your UO is awesome; someone once said exactly that, about Angel being less annoying without Buffy around... and then threw out the addendum that "but then, so is everyone".

Our landlord is so strange and unusual Lydia Deetz would baulk. I think before then we probably do need to get the side panel off and have a look, because even that would be infinitely preferable...

Fooding was satisfactory (though with all the fast food it's hardly surprising I've put on so much weight lately) and foodie-ing starts in half an hour, after which I will have another shower-in-a-pool-of-water. My hair is so greasy I feel like Snape.

It is shameful that I had to google 'Lydia Deetz' before I realised who you were talking about. I'd imagine you can hear the headdesking from here. That said, if your landlord really is that peculiar, removing the side panel is probably the best move anyway - gives you something to hit him with!

Sorry to hear about your Snape!Hair... but on the plus side, at least it's topical for the movie coming out this week? I mean, if you were gonna have to have Snape!Hair on any week...

Heh, very true.

Well, the intention with the new cut was that it would still look okay even unstraighted, but my hair's unpredictability will doubtless put paid to that idea. Ah well. It's a bit more manageable anyway...

No idea if the bath is going to drain, and at this point I frankly don't even care any more. :P

Manageable is good! Practicality is superior to Pantenne-like anyway.

Fingers crossed with the bath-draining... or, failing that, use it as fuel against the landlord! Remove the side panel, hit him with it, and then show him the lack of draining. It is fool-proof!!!

Just realised I forgot in all the bathtub!drama.

Priscilla options.

> Favourite character - Tick / Adam / Mitzi - take your pick of names.

> Least favourite character - Shirley (the vodka-shot woman in the bar).

> Prettiest character - Adam / Felicia.

> Character I'd marry - well, apparently the only marry-able character is Adam, so probably him.

> Favourite pairing - Bernadette/Giles Adam/Anthony. THEY'RE SO SNARKY. (Seconded by Bernadette/Bob, obviously. Aww.)

> Favourite episode scene / song - I love "Mamma Mia" at the end (see question above) and my favourite scene is probably... oh, the "I Will Survive" sequence. Just for the Aborigine bloke going, "...nice night for it!"

> Unpopular opinion - I must prefer Tony Sheldon's Bernadette to Terrence Stamp's... even though Stamp basically created the film character, Sheldon created the West End character and was a more convincing woman. Considering Bernadette's supposed to be a post-op transexual, Terrence Stamp still always looked a bit too manly, and he made a bloody awful drag queen. :P
